New comic!

A very short comic I did yesterday while mussing about with inks -- it's inspired by a few different nightmares I had when I was a kid, and also the story In A Dark Dark Room, which terrified me back then much more than it probably should have.

I do like this a lot. [and with a touch of envy at the fact that you made this in such a quick time!] there's a real frission of fear in it, and the intensity of the colours and dark are lovely. :)

Hahaha, it was partly because I didn't think I'd ever go back to it if I didn't finish it (and it was distracting me from working on other stuff I actually need to do). Thank you so much!

How was this made? Is it ink on paper + digital colour? How are you such a genius?

This is wonderful. The whole thing is wonderful, but I especially love the last panel of the 1st page (I want to curl-up & live in that panel.)

It is exactly that! ... who is the genius now, I ask you! Actually I just found a big pad of bristol that Kate wasn't using, and took it. I applied a texture in Photoshop too, since the paper is so smooth.
